What's New at Marg's...
Marg is retiring... well not completely...
Well it is official... Marg is partially retiring and will no longer be making individual costumes after Canadians in Edmonton this July. This has been a while in the making but speeded up by a recent eye injury. She will continue to sell and will expand the stock of tartans, velvets, braid, and buttons. After her surgery she is finding it difficult to do the close up work that is required to maintain her current standards.
Marg will be selling off her stock of ready-made costumes at upcoming competitions in Lethbridge, Comox, Victoria, Saskatoon, Calgary, Grand Prairie, Red Deer and Edmonton games, and finally the ScotDance Canada Championship Series in Edmonton. Ready-made costumes are on sale with discounts ranging from 10% to 40% for sales at competitions, on-line, and over the phone. Click HERE for details of all the sale prices.
What will Marg do some have asked? Well in Sept. 2013 she will hopefully get to meet some of her Australia friends as she sets sail from Hawaii through the Polynesian islands and lands in Sydney. She has finally booked this trip! She also plans to "dabble" in some Highland "gifty" things and just might set up a table at the competitions every once in a while.

New Tartans & Highland Sock Provider
Following Marg's trip to Scotland this summer she is pleased to release a large range of new tartan only available at MHDW. Pictures of the new tartans are now available on the website.
